There are several types of Special Purpose Crafts. These crafts are unique in their performance of an authorized mission requiring specialized capability that cannot be met within the standardized boat fleet.

The Law Enforcement Special Purpose Craft (SPC-LE) is used primarily for high speed pursuit cases.
